Unique Applications

Northern Apex has deployed a variety of what we call 'Unique Applications' in the RFID field. We consider an application Unique if it does not fall within our four main solution fields:

If you feel that your application does not fit within these four fields, please contact us and we will work with you to design specific applications, products, peripheral tools and integrated solutions that meet your specific unique application needs. Utilizing our existing design tools and RFID tested platforms, your unique application will most likely be built off a foundation we have already created for another use; this saves time, money and quickly gets you to the results you need.

Examples of Unique Application Northern Apex has Deployed:

Space Research - Placed RFID tags on panels for space shuttle testing
Inductive Cooking - RFID enabled cookware/food presentation plates for algorithm stored memory and activation
Medical Device - Developed product to enable RFID read, thermal print report and touch screen operator interface for filter verification
Medical Device - RFID enabled critical information about the wound healing process
Rice Paddy - Embedded tags in a marsh to determine tag reading location information
Specialty Antenna - Created extended reach - flexible antenna to read HF tag
Molding Machine - RFID enabled machine interface - process critical to ensure proper resin bottle present for machine to operate
